You start with 3 points allocated (1 Sorc, 1 Might, 1 Fin), after you discover the first village you can go back to Agarth and reset your points (1280 Gold, increases everytime you pay/respec). You should try to pickpocket everything BUT if you didnt discover the Moon/Star/Sun (where you can sell stolen things) you should pick only things you use like potions, rings, necklace, alchemy/sagecraft/blacksmithing equipments and equipments better than your current.Īlchemy/SageCraft/Blacksmithing equipments does not count to fill the backpack, even the pickpocket ones, pick everything, ONLY gems count toward the backpack limit. You can use Shadow Prism to attract every NPC that walks/dont have a fixed position, that way you can steal something you need. Persuasion and Alchemy may or may not be important depending of your gameplay style.Īfter you have plenty of money you should level up Blacksmithing and start disassemble equipments to earn pieces to make new powerful equipments. Dispelling, Lockpicking, Stealth only "help" in the game, you can live with it at low levels. Later in the game Blacksmithing and SageCraft are very important to make equipament better than everything else any shop can sell and Unique weapons (apart from specials bonuses some that Unique weapons have).

After you get lvl 5 in Detect Hidden you can start developing others skills (Level 5 because in this level you unlock Hidden Doors, which holds very good loots).

(Edit: Just a heads up, I sadly dont have time to update/add new tips, so please look at the comments for more information, thanks!)ĭetect Hidden and Mercantile are the best skills in the early game, you NEED money in the begin to buy better weapons, accessories and other stuff. Hello, I played the original version a generous amount of time and I think I can say a few things to help new players.
